Practice History

In 1970, Dr. Joseph M. H. Lewis opened Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.A. to provide quality oral and maxillofacial treatment services to residents of Florence and the greater Pee Dee. Trained in Boston, Massachusetts and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Lewis used innovative surgical techniques to advance the specialty and provide exceptional medical care.

Sharing in his values and commitment, Dr. Kenneth J. Lowry, II joined the practice in 1974, followed by Dr. F. Douglas Oliver in 1999, and Dr. J. Michael Morgan, IV in 2006. The most recent addition, Dr. Matthew Lee added his skills and passion to the team in 2016.

Today, Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.A. continues to provide unparalleled treatment to residents of Florence, SC, the Pee Dee, and beyond.
